Dr Cheong Yee Tsing
MBBS (London), FRCOG (London), M.Med (O&G) (USM), Cert.IVF (UKM), AM (Mal), Fellow in Reproductive Medicine & Infertility (Australia) 

Cheong Yee Tsing is currently practising as a Consultant Gynaecologist and Fertility Specialist at Sabah Care Specialist Clinic, and she is the clinical director of SabahCare Fertility Centre, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysia.


She has more than 10 years of working experience as a specialist in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. In 2009, she was gazetted by the Malaysian Ministry of Health as a Subspecialist in Reproductive Medicine and Infertility. During her fellowship training in Melbourne, Australia, she worked at one of the busiest IVF (in vitro fertilization) centres in Australia at Melbourne IVF/Royal Women’s Hospital.


On her return from Australia, she took on the role of setting up the first public IVF Centre in Sabah and East Malaysia at Sabah Women’s and Children’s Hospital. This is one of the four public IVF centres in Malaysia.


In 2017, she set up the stand-alone private IVF centre in Kota Kinabalu, at SabahCare Fertility Centre. She has vast experience in providing fertility services for couples with various fertility issues, and has realized many couples’ dreams of having a baby through intra-uterine insemination services (IUI) and in-vitro fertilization (IVF) treatments.

Datuk Dr. Hj. Mohamed Hatta bin Mohamed Tarmizi is a Senior Consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist and Reproductive Medicine & Infertility Specialist, currently practicing at the Sabah Women’s and Children’s Hospital, Kota Kinabalu. 

​

He is a Resident Consultant at Sabah Care Fertility Centre. 

​

He graduated in 1995 with MBBCh (with Honours) from Mansoura University, Egypt, and has worked in Kuantan, Pahang; Tapah, Perak; HUSM, Kelantan as well as at the Royal Women’s Hospital, Melbourne, Australia. And in 2018, completed clinical attachment at the Hewitt Fertility Centre, Liverpool Women’s Hospital.

He worked in Sabah as a Specialist since 2002 and registered NSR as a Reproductive Medicine Specialist in 2010. 

​

Upon his return from Australia, he, together with Dr Cheong, set up the first public IVF centre in Sabah in 2010. He currently heads the centre now. 

​

He also holds a Postgraduate certificate in Medical Law and Ethics from the University of Edinburgh, Scotland in 2016.  

​

He was conferred the Panglima Gemilang Darjah Kinabalu by the TYT Governor of Sabah which caries the title Datuk in 2019.

Ms Michelle Jane Chin
B. Biotech(Med) (Australia), M. Sc (Australia), MAIMS (Australia), MIMLS (Malaysia), Cert. ART (UKM)
 

Michelle obtained her Bachelor of Biotechnology majoring in Human Medical Science, back in 2008 from University of Tasmania, Australia. She began involved in research of human medical related biotechnology before eventually pursued her postgraduate studies in biomedical science and awarded as an honoured member of Australian Institute of Medical Scientist. She was at a managerial position in Midland Public and Private hospital in Perth, Western Australia.

​

On her return from Australia, she went on further training at Hospital Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (HUKM MAC) Medical Assisted Conception centre, which pioneered in Malaysia’s Assisted Reproductive Technology covering all aspects of artificial reproductive techniques including oocyte vitrification for fertility cryopreservation and specialises in intracytoplasmic morphologically selected sperm injection.

Ms. Chin takes pride of her role as SabahCare Fertility Centre’s embryologist and find it rewarding to be able to help couples overcome their hindrances in conceiving.
